DO THE HARTFORD WHALERS LIVE?

Welcome to my ongoing open rant about that team in a former NHL market that will probably never die. Yes it's the Hartford Whalers. You probably live in another big city that's lost a team and are living throughout the same news, some big company wants to bring back your team that moved away in the middle of the night. Will the NHL or other league allow a team to come back to your city? Is there buyers with enough $$ in your area to bring a pro team back? Is the fan interest still there? Is the cost of going to an NHL game too price prohibitive for such a long season? Will we support an NHL team once it gets here? Will the Florida teams begin moving north in search of fans?
I'd also like to take a look back at the Hartford Whalers. Please feel free to share memories of the Whalers players, coaches and owners.Also what it was like to be a Whalers fan. If you have Whalers items and would like to post them for all to see beforeyou EBAY them away, well you can do that too.
Anyway, I will soon be posting the latest news on efforts to being the Whalers back to Hartford. It's been heating up since the end of 2005 and has been a hot lead-in news item on local Hartford television.
